Tomorrow in Bklyn!
Unity – feeling good trumps dying.
Found a pic of Vicki, Al, Nadine, Emanuel and I brainstorming the launch of this site last year at the kab convention. We are planning already for the Zohar convention in the Catskills – few miles past New Paltz – May 7-9. www.kabbalah.info
Danny and I just finished a video shoot. We performed 7 songs from Waking From the Dream.
We’ll link them here when they’re complete.
Thanks to all of the friends who came to the final day of shooting the Something Better vid.
We’ll have the final vid here for you to see by the middle of October.
Great day.
The director/producer team of Judah and Moshe have this thing on lockdown. I’m a brother and I work with my brother and watching brothers work together is special.
The balance of power, the give and take, the patience. Egos grow and the magic happens when we can surfs ontop of the egos. The bigger the egos, the greater the chance of riding a big wave. In the presence of talent, good timing and some luck, we’re surfing this thing all the way.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 16th in Tompkins Square Park Wednesday Sept. 16. 1st Ave and 8 St. 9am-2ish.
Yesterday Judah and Crew started filming at 5am at a downtown bar. Finished the day shooting on Wall street.
Mark and I hosted a kab q & a last night at kabbalah.info/live
It was wildly successful and we’re going to do it again next Wednesday, Sept 2 (OMG, autumn is coming)
I’m slapped in the face over and over again by life. The same beatings. I wish I was a faster learner.
Look at every situation, somewhere in there is, “What can I get out of this?”, “What’s in it for me?”. The world is projected by the means that we percieve it. The physical world does not even objectively exist. It is a projection of this question. If I enter a situation and need something from someone, chances are I won’t get all that I need and I’ll feel empty. On the other hand, if I have a different attitude about what I need or why and then I don’t get it, the world is not such a crap-hole, the change in my perception changes my whole reality.
The physical world does not exist. It is a projection of what we can get out of it. The fact that we see it this way is a disguise…it is only our perception.
In conclusion, here’s a silly but clear cut example: When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, if you were a homeowner, you were in a bad way, a real bad way. All of your possessions, your hoome, your job, your friends lives are all destroyed. On the other hand, if you were the contractor who was hired to rebuild the city and you have a contract and a deposit check sitting on your desk for $25 million, your perception of the same hurricane is quite different.
